IRRAGATION SYSTEM
n 2022 we worked with SAIP (branch of RAB & MINAGRI) and the World Bank to construct our irrigation system. Phase 1 started in June 2022 and should be concluded in May 2023. We plan to start phase 2 that same month, and it will be concluded earlier in 2024. In the first phase, we installed 32 solar panels. During phase 2, we will increase that number to 96 solar panels.
PACKHOUSES
Umuyenzi Ferme LTD’s plan to construct two packhouses , one dedicated to macadamia processing and the other for mangoes and avocados, will give the company a competitive advantage over other horticultural exporters. Umuyenzi Ferme Ltd (UFER) is a farm located in Rwamagana, Muniyiginya, in the Eastern region of Rwanda. We are one hour away from the Kigali international airport.
